The German Jordanian University (GJU) & MUHAKAT signs a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU)

The German Jordanian University (GJU) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Muhakat Institute for Consulting and Training to enhance knowledge and awareness of the importance of logistics and supply chains among university students and recent graduates, particularly in the fields of Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, and Logistics.

The MoU was signed by GJU President, Prof. Ala’aldeen Al-Halhouli, and Muhakat’s Founder and Director, Mr. Samer Al-Madhoun. The agreement aims to support students in obtaining globally recognized professional certifications in supply chain management and aligning academic course content with international standards in this field.
Under the agreement, both parties will collaborate to organize workshops and free training courses, in addition to engaging students in global initiatives and competitions, such as the “My Career” initiative, which aims to develop their skills and enhance their employment opportunities. Furthermore, the university will work with the institute through the Consultation and Training Center to offer specialized educational programs for students and the wider community.


Prof. Al-Halhouli emphasized that this partnership reflects the university’s commitment to providing high-quality applied education that prepares well-qualified graduates capable of competing in the local and international job markets. He added that GJU is keen on strengthening its partnerships with leading institutions across various sectors to enhance its academic programs and align them with the latest advancements in the business and industrial sectors. He noted that the collaboration with Muhakat supports the university’s vision of equipping students with both academic knowledge and practical experience, ensuring better career opportunities through integrating theoretical education with hands-on training based on global best practices.

For his part, Al-Madhoun, expressed his pride in this partnership, highlighting that it represents a significant step towards empowering students with the necessary knowledge and practical skills in supply chain management and logistics. He added, “Through this collaboration, we aim to provide high-quality educational opportunities for GJU students by linking academic curricula to global standards and enabling them to obtain internationally recognized professional certifications, thereby enhancing their readiness to enter the job market with confidence and competence.”
