A free learning initiative that turned supply chain awareness into a growing youth movement across Jordan.

Through the MIHNATI initiative, MUHAKAT created a free learning movement that introduced university students and young professionals to supply chain management as a future career, while supporting quality education, gender equality, and inclusion.

MIHNATI, meaning “My Future Career,” connected students, academics, fresh graduates, industry experts, and global supply chain education partners around one mission: preparing the next generation for meaningful careers in supply chain management.

MIHNATI: Building the Next Generation of Supply Chain Talent

MUHAKAT has long believed that supply chain education can be more than professional training. It can be a platform for social impact, youth empowerment, and sustainable development. As a signatory of the United Nations Global Compact, MUHAKAT translated its commitment to SDG 4 Quality Education and SDG 5 Gender Equality into a practical initiative that opened access to supply chain learning for university students and young professionals.

The challenge: a talent gap in a critical profession

The Middle East is an emerging supply chain market facing complex challenges, from geopolitical disruption and logistics blockages to severe weather events and growing employer expectations. These pressures have increased demand for capable supply chain talent, yet many students and fresh graduates still lack early exposure to the field, its career pathways, and its practical impact.

MUHAKAT recognized a clear gap: supply chain needed to be introduced earlier, explained more practically, and positioned as a future-ready career for young people exploring where they could contribute across Plan, Source, Make, Deliver, Return, and Enable.

The initiative: a supply chain learning movement

To respond to this need, MUHAKAT launched MIHNATI as a free supply chain learning initiative for university students and young professionals. The initiative created continuous dialogue with students, scholars, and fresh graduates while connecting them to supply chain  learning resources, professional communities, and practical career guidance.

MUHAKAT and its team toured universities across Jordan, signed memoranda of understanding, established student chapters, and collaborated with existing international student chapters such as IISE and IEEE. This helped transform MIHNATI from a learning campaign into a community-led movement for supply chain talent development.

Free Supply Chain-Based Learning Activities

MIHNATI introduced students and young professionals to structured supply chain learning through The initiative soon participated in a wide range of learning, community, and career-building activities:free activities, webinars, and awareness sessions based on internationally recognized supply chain knowledge.

Digital Badges and Career Visibility

Participants received badges and certificates that supported their professional profiles and encouraged continued engagement with future learning opportunities.

Student Chapters and University Engagement

More than 25 student chapters helped promote the initiative, creating a strong community effect across Jordanian universities.
